Scion “Street Art” Campaign
I designed all visual and technical elements of this campaign while working for Entercom Portland. The overall campaign was aimed at a demographic of hip, middle class, age 25 – 30 males in the Northwest United States. I created a modified Scion thematic logo as well as matching collateral and graphic imagery. Pictured above are the two main pieces, both current models of Scion. One is wrapped in stencil art style, while the other is wrapped in original graffiti art style. Not only was this concept bolstered by the client, Scion, as being right with who they were, but they also purchased the original artwork from my designs for their own distribution in customer appreciation items.Also please see these related items:
MaxisNOW! Messenger Bag Commercial
Just something I put together for my own little messenger bag initiative. It’s comprised of photos and video either taken by me or of me in the southeast Portland area.
Scion xB Preroll Commercial
This is a preroll commercial developed for online assets sponsored by Scion in the northwest United States. Not only did I develop the concept and produce the commercial, I am also the artist in it.
Coto Normal – “Negative” Music Video
Working closely with the band, Coto Normal, we completed full production on this video in just one week. Everything from concept to post-production was handled by me with critique guided by the main band-member and songwriter, Erik Matson. This stands out in my collection as a project with little guidance, but very good results.
Harveys Boutique Spring 2005 Collection “Behind the Scenes” Video
This video was shot as a “behind the scenes” to the Spring 2005 Collection photo shoot. I collaborated with the main photographer in really capturing the “fun” and “vibrant” nature of the Harveys collection for this symbiotic video. All of the editing and concept were developed by me, although they were all taken from the larger concept and presence of the Harveys Spring 2005 Collection.
Vibra Bus Advertisement
Following the branding template defined by Jon Tudor and Vibra previous to this ad, I created this large format bus advertisement for their campaign on Portland transit system.
Cotonormal Single Cover
A small LA based band, Cotonormal, comissioned me to create this cover for thier single after wrapping the music video production for the same single. They loved this album cover and still use the imagery in their marketing today.
“Metaphysics” Book Sleeve
Designed for Al Flores’s book, “Metaphysics”, this sleeve’s intent is to visualize the content of contemporary metaphysical discussions touched on in the book. The organic nature of the pine needles represented this well, being very similar to the splitting and varying nature of contemporary metaphysics, all with a similar root or core.
Manifest Art Show Flyer
This flyer was created for my own art show in Santa Ana, Ca at the Posthuman Gallery. I utilized one of my own metal pieces for this flyer.
Kidsgiving Clothes Closet Advertisment
This ad was created for print in Willamette Week, a local Portland publication, to advertise a warehouse sale hosted by the Portland Rotary and Entercom Portland’s cluster of radio stations.
Laurie Farms – “berries for everyone” Campaign
Although this photo appears in the design page, it is also an example of some of my experience in product photography. I worked with the client to photograph thier various berries. Although the campaign was cut short, I do have a sample from the original shoot with the design layout all finished. These were designs intended for print in local papers and signage.
The Professional Man
This sample is from a on-site photoshoot I did with the Portland, Or banb by the name of The Professional Man. They used the prints from this shoot in marketing and advertising for general branding as well as poster art in their show ads.
